22 August 20:03

Russian forces attacked the “Aurora” network’s distribution center a second time. After the first strike, the enemy fired on the center again while rescue workers were already on the scene. This was stated by Taras Panasenko, co-founder of the “Aurora” network, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

The warehouse facilities were destroyed as a result of the enemy strike.

In addition, vehicles belonging to the State Emergency Service, which had arrived to deal with the aftermath of the first strike, were damaged.

“After the first strike, the enemy launched follow-up attacks to inflict maximum casualties while emergency services were on the scene,” Panasenko noted.

Despite the repeated shelling, there were no civilian casualties.

Deaths and injuries among personnel and rescuers were avoided thanks to strict adherence to safety protocols during both strikes.

As reported by [Komersant], on August 22, Russian troops struck the “Aurora” distribution center. At the time, the company noted that staff were in shelters, while the chain’s stores continued to operate as usual.
