Russia has attacked energy infrastructure in the Odesa region: 32 settlements are without power

On the evening of May 14, Russian troops attacked energy infrastructure in the Odesa region. A drone strike damaged an energy facility in the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district. The attack left 32 settlements and more than 15,000 customers without power. This was reported by Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
According to him, there is no information about casualties resulting from the evening attack on the energy facility.
What happened in the Odesa region
On the evening of May 14, Russian troops struck the energy infrastructure of the Odesa region. An energy facility in the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district came under attack.
The strike by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) damaged equipment, leaving some consumers without electricity.
According to the Odesa Regional Military Administration, there were no casualties as a result of this attack.
How many settlements were left without power
Due to damage to the energy facility, 32 settlements lost power. In total, more than 15 ,000 customers were left without power.
As of 9:00 p.m ., power workers managed to restore power to 12,000 customers. Work to restore power is ongoing.

The Regional Military Administration reported that critical infrastructure facilities have been switched to backup power. This ensures the operation of vital services and facilities necessary for the functioning of communities.
Power companies are taking all necessary measures to restore power to all consumers as quickly as possible.
Nighttime attack on the Odesa region: what happened earlier
Prior to the evening strike on the power facility, Russia had already attacked the Odesa region on the night of May 14. According to the Odesa Regional Military Administration, the enemy attacked the region in two waves using strike drones.
At that time, port infrastructure was targeted. Property, equipment, and freight vehicles were damaged. Two people were injured as a result of the nighttime attack.
