Russia destroyed the “Nova Poshta” sorting terminal in Poltava: what will happen to the packages?

As a result of yet another Russian attack, the “Nova Poshta” sorting terminal in Poltava was destroyed. Despite the extensive damage, the company’s employees were unharmed, as they were in shelters during the air raid alert.

This was reported by Nova Poshta, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"

Employees survived thanks to the shelters

The company reported that at the time of the Russian strike, employees were in protective shelters.

As a result of the attack:

  • there were no fatalities;
  • no one was injured;
  • the sorting terminal sustained significant damage.

Cleanup efforts are underway at the site, and an assessment of the damage is being conducted.

What will happen to the packages?

“Nova Poshta” noted that specialists are currently determining the number of damaged and destroyed shipments.

The company guarantees that all customers will receive compensation.

“We will compensate customers for the declared value of shipments that were destroyed as a result of the attack,” the company said.

How deliveries will work

To avoid widespread delays, Nova Poshta has already shifted its logistics operations to backup routes.

The company assured that this will minimize the impact of the attack on package delivery throughout Ukraine.
