Secrets of the Cosmos: The U.S. Releases Archives on UFO Incidents

The U.S. Department of Defense has begun releasing previously classified documents regarding UFO incidents. This move was taken in response to an order from former President Donald Trump, who sought to disclose information about unidentified phenomena to the public.
A separate page with the released files has appeared on the Pentagon’s website, reports "Komersant Ukrainian".
Due to the large volume of materials, their release will occur in phases: new portions will be released every few weeks as documents are discovered and declassified.
Public Access
On social media platform X, the Pentagon emphasized that the public now has the opportunity to form its own opinion about the information contained in these files.
U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hagset emphasized:
“These files, hidden behind a veil of secrecy, have long fueled well-founded speculation—and the time has come for the American people to see them with their own eyes.”
The first batch of released materials includes 162 files.
Among them are old State Department telegrams, FBI documents, and NASA transcripts of astronauts’ spaceflights.
One of the documents describes an FBI interview with a drone operator who, in September 2023, reported a “linear object” emitting a bright light.

Photographic evidence and testimonies
Photos from the 1972 Apollo 17 mission have also been published, showing three points arranged in a triangular formation. Although there is no consensus regarding the nature of this anomaly, preliminary analysis suggests the possibility of a physical object.
Another photo depicts the site of the event with a graphic illustration supporting eyewitness accounts of an ellipsoid-shaped object with a bronze metallic color that appeared in September 2023.
These materials are generating significant interest among scientists and researchers studying unidentified atmospheric phenomena. The Pentagon is calling on the scientific community and the public to analyze and discuss the data presented.
