In the UK, a road has been blocked for six weeks to protect thousands of frogs and newts heading to the lake where they breed.
This was reported by the BBC, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
This seasonal closure is one of four in the UK that has been in place since 2003.
Volunteers are patrolling the Charlcombe Lane area in the British city of Bath to make sure that motorists do not use this route until March 23.

In this way, more than 3,200 amphibians were helped to cross the roads safely last year, making it the most active season in the last 14 years, the media reports.
“With climate change, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to predict peak periods for amphibian movement, so closing the road for six weeks really makes a big difference,” the BBC quoted Helen Hobbs of the Charlcombe Frog Rescue Group as saying.
