First group of Ukrainian pilots completes F-16 training in the US

In the United States, the first group of combat pilots from Ukraine has completed training on F-16 aircraft. Politico writes about this, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
Air National Guard spokeswoman Erin Hannigan said the Ukrainians had completed training at a military base in Arizona. She called it a decisive step towards the emergence of modern fighter jets in the skies of Ukraine.
The pilots were trained at the 162nd Air National Guard Base in Tucson. Hannigan did not specify how many Ukrainian servicemen were part of the group, citing operational security requirements. However, she added that the pilots are currently travelling to Europe for additional training.

The publication stressed that Ukraine plans to receive more than 60 F-16s from Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands and Belgium.
It should be noted that during an online briefing with foreign media while in Warsaw, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that the process of transferring F-16 fighters to Ukraine is currently going according to plan and that the combat aircraft should arrive in Ukraine in the middle of this summer.
