Rains and thunderstorms to cover Ukraine: weather forecast for March 13

Today, March 13, the cyclone that is raging over Poland will bring atmospheric fronts with rain and thunderstorms to Ukraine. Precipitation is predicted in the west, north, and central regions. This was reported by weather forecaster Natalia Didenko, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
The rains will be mainly in the west, north and center of the country. In the late afternoon, precipitation may affect Kharkiv region. No significant precipitation is expected in other regions.
In addition to rain, winds will increase in Ukraine on March 13. Gusts of southerly winds of up to 15-20 m/s are forecast, which may become stormy in some places. The only exception will be the east of the country, where the wind will be less intense.
The air temperature continues to hold at record levels. During the day, the thermometer will fluctuate between 15…22°C, although the comfort temperature will be slightly lower due to the wind. The feeling of spring warmth will remain, but on March 15-16, a cold air mass will enter Ukraine, which will bring a significant drop in temperature. In the southern and eastern regions, a cold snap is expected on March 16-17.
On March 13, it will be windy in Kyiv, with stormy wind gusts of up to 15-20 m/s possible. The air temperature will remain high – up to 18°C. Rain is expected in the capital in the late afternoon or evening. Starting March 15, the temperature in Kyiv will begin to drop.
