Over the past few months, the number of sole proprietorships in Ukraine has increased by 35,000

The number of individual entrepreneurs registered in Ukraine increased by 35,040 between April and June 2026, reaching more than 1.836 million. According to "Komersant Ukrainian", the State Statistics Service reported this on Facebook.
“As of July 1, 2026, there were 1,836,627 registered individual entrepreneurs (1,801,587 as of April 1, 2026),” the statement reads.
The number of sole proprietorships established in the second quarter was 75,954, the State Statistics Service clarified.
The agency added that the regions with the highest number of sole proprietors are Kyiv (262,685), Dnipropetrovsk (153,663), and Lviv (140,702) regions.
It is also noted that as of July 1, 2026, there were 1,572,225 legal entities registered in Ukraine. As of April 1 of this year, there were 1,563,733.
The most common organizational and legal form is a partnership (873,805).
