Following a large-scale Russian attack on the night of August 5, during which logistics complexes, manufacturing facilities, and commercial infrastructure were destroyed, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is holding emergency meetings with representatives of the Ukrainian business community.
This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing a statement by Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky.

According to the head of government, special meetings with business representatives will take place today.
The main goal is to develop solutions that will help ensure the uninterrupted operation of logistics operators, retail chains, and businesses following the latest wave of Russian strikes.
“The government is urgently organizing meetings with business representatives and will work out the necessary measures to ensure the uninterrupted operation of logistics companies and retail enterprises in response to Russian missile attacks,” Serhiy Koretskyi stated.
The Prime Minister clarified that the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine has already received the relevant instructions.

Russia is attacking civilian businesses
As Koretsky emphasized, during the nighttime attack, Russia used:
- 28 missiles;
- 115 attack drones.
The following were targeted:
- residential buildings;
- logistics complexes;
- warehouses;
- manufacturing facilities;
- commercial infrastructure.
According to the prime minister, these strikes have no military purpose.
“Russia is escalating its terror and extending it to businesses that serve millions of people. There is no military objective behind these attacks—this is terrorism,” the head of government emphasized.
Which companies were affected
During the massive attack, facilities belonging to a number of large Ukrainian companies were damaged or completely destroyed.
In particular, earlier reports indicated:
- the complete destruction of the “Nova Poshta” sorting center;
- the destruction of Epicenter’s logistics complexes and production facilities;
- strikes on Rozetka warehouses;
- damage to manufacturing facilities and other logistics centers.
Ensuring the uninterrupted operation of these companies will be one of the main issues in the government’s consultations.
Consequences of the Attack
According to the Prime Minister, as a result of the massive Russian strike:
- 17 people were killed;
- 44 civilians were injured.
The following personnel have been deployed to address the aftermath of the attack:
- 410 State Emergency Service rescuers;
- over 100 pieces of specialized equipment.
The government has pledged to respond promptly to new challenges facing the Ukrainian economy and to make the decisions necessary to ensure the stable operation of businesses, even amid ongoing Russian attacks.
