Russia attacked the Odesa region overnight: the port was damaged

Russian troops attacked the Odesa region again on Saturday night, killing two people and damaging civilian infrastructure, according to the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development, as reported by "Komersant Ukrainian".

“The enemy attacked the Odesa region overnight. Two people were killed. Multi-unit residential buildings were damaged,” the statement said.

The enemy also struck the region’s port infrastructure again. Storage tanks and an administrative building were damaged. A fire broke out.

“Russia is systematically targeting logistics—railways, ports, and facilities that ensure the country’s vital functions,” the Ministry of Development emphasized.

In addition, the Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Sumy, and Kyiv regions, as well as the capital and other areas, came under enemy attack.

All relevant services are working on the ground, and cleanup efforts are underway. Priority restoration work has been organized.

Shelling of Ukraine

It should be noted that on the night of May 3, Russia attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 268 strike drones. Air defense forces managed to shoot down most of the enemy drones.

At the same time, a ballistic missile and 19 strike drones were recorded hitting 15 locations, and debris from downed drones was found at one location.

On the evening of May 2, explosions were heard in Kyiv. Air defense systems were activated as Russian drones attacked the city.
