Air pollution recorded in Kyiv: what is the cause?

The air quality index calculated for the main air pollutant, fine dust, is 56. This is a moderate level of air pollution that can cause minor breathing discomfort for sensitive people.
As of 15:00, this level of pollution was recorded in the Sviatoshynskyi district of the capital. However, as of 1:00 a moderate level of pollution (with an index of 77) was recorded in most neighbourhoods of the capital. Environmentalists explain that the reason for the deterioration in air quality in the capital is the rise in temperature.
