The Russian Black Sea Fleet is compiling lists of military personnel’s families

According to the publication’s sources, the command of the Russian Black Sea Fleet has received orders to urgently compile lists of military personnel’s family members for a possible evacuation.

It is reported that the order was signed by Fleet Commander Sergei Pinchuk.

At this time, there has been no official confirmation of this information from the Russian military leadership.

What Scenarios Are Being Considered

According to sources at Army Media, two possible scenarios are currently being considered.

The first is that preparations for a possible evacuation concern only Sevastopol, where the main forces of the Russian Black Sea Fleet are stationed.

The second involves other Russian naval garrisons on the temporarily occupied Crimean Peninsula potentially receiving similar orders in the near future.

In recent months, the temporarily occupied Crimea has been regularly subjected to attacks on military facilities, ammunition depots, airfields, and elements of military infrastructure.

In particular, Sevastopol has repeatedly been the target of strikes on facilities of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.

Back in June , the “Atesh” military-partisan movement reported that Russian military personnel within the Black Sea Fleet’s command structures were developing plans to relocate command centers to Novorossiysk.

Some officers had already begun addressing the practical details of the move without waiting for official orders: they were relocating their families, disposing of property they could not take with them, and settling into their new homes in Novorossiysk.

According to representatives of the underground, “the mood within the fleet’s leadership is somber—those who truly understand what is happening prefer not to delay.”

“Atesh” attributes these sentiments to the deteriorating security situation for Russian troops in Crimea following a series of strikes by the Ukrainian Defense Forces on military facilities on the peninsula.
